LIFE FEELS GOOD

director: Maciej Pieprzyca, production: 2013, Poland

Inspired by real events, the story of disabled Mateusz, who – despite his difficulties in communicating with the world – proves how much the power of the human spirit can do. Outdoor locations in Katowice – including St. Andrew’s square, the vicinity of the Silesian Insurgents Monument – photographed by Paweł Dyllus, created the perfect background for this moving, warm, and optimistic story about the will to live and enjoying the experience of the world despite adversity.

In the photo: Anna Karczmarczyk and Dawid Ogrodnik on Mariacka Street in Katowice, in the background – St. Mary’s Church.
