ONIRICA

director: Lech Majewski, production: 2013, Poland

A film poem taking place on the border between reality and dream, telling about human life and its passing, in which the world of emotions, feelings, and dreams is an escape from the tragic and disappointing everyday life. The film was made entirely in locations of the Silesian Voivodeship – including the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sosnowiec, Katowice city locations, the building of the former seat of the Silesian Museum at al. W. Korfantego in Katowice, from which Lech Majewski brought out the extraordinary visual potential.
